I am so glad I finally checked out this wonderful Albuquerque resource! Well organized, lots of available material and a friendly person there to help you - I wish I had visited sooner. Toddler toys, books, puzzles, games, and dolls. Books and guides for parents. Early education toys and games. Materials for homeschoolers, too! My mind was reeling!

How many times have you gotten your child a toy only to have the novelty wear off in a month (or less)? How many times have you wanted a game or large toy but not had space to store it? Or perhaps there's a resource you only need occasionally? This is a perfect option! Borrow that toy kitchen for a month and then trade it for something else. Feed that fascination with dinosaurs without cluttering up your already full toybox!

I really cannot do the Toy Library justice right here. I encourage you to go check it out for yourself and see all the ways you can fit this warm, welcoming resource into your life. Bring your kids and tell Dolores Inspired sent you!

Infant Sign Language intro and workshop
Monday, February 15. NEW ADDITION TO CALENDAR!
The Intro class is at 6pm and the Workshop is 7-9pm. We still need more families to register in order to hold this class. If you can't attend this one, join us on Wednesday, March 3rd instead.

Belly Henna Workshop
Friday, February 19, 5-9pm.
For expectant moms. The evening will begin with a consultation with a professional Henna Artist who will create a beautiful design on your belly. Then you will be treated to a private photo shoot with a photographer who will capture amazing pictures for you. One will be turned into an 8x10 print. All while relaxing with other pregnant moms to music, rose petal foot baths, tea and snacks.

From Partners to Parents
Saturday, Feb 20, 6:30-8:30pm.
Discuss ways to protect, preserve and strengthen your romantic relationship, through pregnancy, birth and postpartum and beyond. Real advice and strategies to balance your entire family's needs, from baby to parents to romantic partners. Expecting couples, as well as parents of toddlers and up will all benefit.

• We have an updated policies page.
• Our first Condensed Childbirth Series begins February 16. 3 sessions (2 hours each) will touch on the main points of birth preparation for both home and hospital birth. Great for 2nd timers or those pressed for time. $180 plus tax for three week series plus possible postpartum class. MEMBER PRICE: $10 off (cannot be combined with medicaid discount). With Amie Merhege.
• We added an Infant Sign Language intro and workshop on Monday, February 15. The Intro class is at 6pm and the Workshop is 7-9pm. We still need more families to register in order to hold this class.

RAISING CAIN: THE EMOTIONAL LIFE OF BOYS

Explore the social and emotional challenges that boys encounter in family life and school. And, we ask ourselves, "How can we help boys cultivate emotional awareness and empathy?" - giving them the vital connections and support they need to navigate the social pressures of youth.
