Fair Trade/Alternative Gifts Holiday Fair
THIS Sunday, December 6, 3-6pm
Register NOW for massages, photos and crafts. Slots are already filling!
We have Peace Craft, a local handmade wooden toys vendor, unique children's books and many other truly special vendors lined up. We feel these are gifts you can't find anywhere else! In addition to coffee from Flying Star and a Kids Korner to keep your kids busy, we also have FREE chair massages and a FREE holiday photo shoot. You DO need to register for these spots by emailing us right away. Many slots are already filled!
KIDS KORNER:
For the Kids Activities, we only have spots for ten kids for each activity. If you would like to get in on these, please be sure to get there a little early to hold your spot:
3pm - Holiday Puppets
4pm - Picture Frame Ornaments
5pm - Homemade Wrapping and Gift Bags
Kids Shopping Korner - we will have an area just for kids to shop for their parents, grandparents, siblings and friends. Gifts will have a $5 price cap and an adult will help them shop, pay and bag their items.
HOLIDAY PHOTO SHOOT:
Slots begin at 3pm and are in 15 minute increments until the last slot at 5:45pm. Please let us know if you want to reserve a spot! We'll have a nice holiday backdrop and decorations, but you are free to bring any special additions to that.

One day only! 10% off Gift Certificates for classes in 2010! If you know you will be coming to take advantage of this, you can let us know in advance and we will have it ready for you to pick it up that day. If you can't make it that day, buy a Gift Certificate on any other day in December for 5% off.
One day only! Memberships will be $35! Renewals for current members to extend your membership for 12 more months past your current renewal date also just $35. You must stop in on December 6 to take advantage of this deal!

Half of our slots are already full, so contact us now to see what's available. If you are getting a picture taken, we can coordinate those for you.
Even if you can just stop by for a cup of coffee before heading on to your other activities (We know you are busy!), we'd love to see you and catch up.

If you're a pretty healthy family and want to stay that way, this is the class for you!
An Appointment with Nature
Thursday, Decmeber 10, 6-8pm.
Based on the PBS documentary, "Where Do The Children Play?" this workshop may remind parents of their childhood play and how it compares with the present day play of their children. The film raises issues of the positive and negative aspects of technology and the media, over scheduling of children, safety of free play, and urban neighborhood play. Following the documentary, participants will explore ways that children can reconnect with the powerful effect that nature plays in understanding our world. This workshop is designed for parents to assist children of all ages. $25 per person. With Abby AND Betty Bordner.
