For wipes, I suggest getting cloth wipes or just a stack of washcloths. I keep
near those a spray bottle of plain water. I don’t make a wipe solution, though
you certainly could. But we just use water. For my stock of disposable wipes
for travel, I initially got any type of wipe with a big plastic container. I used
those and then kept the container. That was over six years ago and I still use
that container. I also got a small container for travel. Then I refill both, using
wipes that comes in the soft plastic wrap so as not to be constantly purchasing
the plastic containers. That lasts me quite awhile. I think I get Natural Value at
the co-op because it comes in the bigger quantity, so less purchases and less
packaging.

If those wipes every dry out, I simply add water to the stack of wipes.

I attended the diaper class back in March.
I'm still deciding about which cloth diapers to buy and I am
also looking into wipes. I can't remember if we talked about
alternatives to baby wipes in the class but I would be interested
in finding out more info. Also I think I will keep a stock of baby wipes
to use when traveling, etc. I saw the brand "Seventh
Generation", any opinion about that brand? Other
suggestions for more natural, environment friendly wipes?
I am due in Sept and trying to gather as much advice and
wisdom as possible!
